Our Services
Open Studio
Open Studio is self-directed, drop in art time at the Neighborhood Art Center. We believe that freedom to explore and create is important to learning. However, if you need extra help, our studio assistants are always on hand to assist.
At Open Studio you’ll be able to:
Screen Print
Paint on the walls of our paint room
Draw Self Portraits
Work with recycled materials
And more!
In addition to our staple activities above, our team is always developing new projects with all kinds of media for you and your kids to experiment with.
All ages and abilities are welcome. Admission is $5 for kids and $3 for adults. Open Studio hours are 10am-5pm on Wednesdays and Fridays and 12-4pm Saturdays. No reservation needed, drop in anytime!

Every week we explore different aspects of drawing and art including still lifes, shading, lines, collage, zines, comics, figure drawing, illustrating, and more! Sometimes we have local artists stop by and show us their sketchbooks, and sometimes we work on collaborative projects. There’s always something fun going on. You can sign up through our Patreon for $15 a month or drop in for $7 each class!
Adaptive Art
Adaptive Art classes are for adults age 18+ with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Classes are $3 per student and include one hour of instruction in our classroom with an art instructor. Come ready to be creative in a safe and inclusive environment!
